Neil Patrick Harris was awarded the Trevor Project 2009 Life Award @ the Wiltern Theatre in Hollywood, Sunday. Accepting the award Harris said, “Being the real, authentic me has turned out quite swell. Since I came out in 2006, I have since enjoyed the happiest and most successful years of my life.” Recounting stories he heard from volunteers working the phones @ the West Hollywood Trevor Project Call Center, Harris said, “What I do feels small compared to these volunteers.” AT&T Inc. received the Trevor Hope  Award. The Trevor Project, is the non-profit organization that operates the only nationwide, around-the-clock crisis & suicide prevention helpline for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender & questioning (LGBTQ) youth. The Cracked Xmas Event is its largest annual fundraiser. For Info: thetrevorproject.org
