Mitt Romney Anti Gay And A Bully

By Charlotte Robinson, May 12, 2012
The media was buzzing Thursday when high school classmates of Mitt Romney came forth exposing a bullying incident that Romney led against a student who was different. It seems in Mitt’s high school days there was a guy with long bleached blond hair which Romney took a scissors to as his cronies held the poor guy down. The story went national in the wake of Obama coming out for marriage equality. Romney of course has amnesia about the incident with a footnote of being sorry if he had done the deed. Finally Romney’s true character is beginning to surface. If you’re a homophobe, hatemonger & bully then Romney is your man. This sort of attitude is what keeps this country from moving forward. Romney hasn’t changed from his high school years. Remember Romney's the one who ran for Senator in Massachusetts saying he was a better advocate for gay rights then Ted Kennedy. Then when gay marriage passed in 2004 Governor Romney enforced a 1913 bill preventing nonresidents from marrying that cost the Commonwealth of Massachusetts millions of dollars of lost revenues. Even the gay Republicans are beginning to see the true Romney pleading with him to change his position on marriage equality. R. Clarke Cooper, Log Cabin Republicans Executive Director said, "Governor Mitt Romney's statement in opposition to not just marriage but civil unions jeopardizes his ability to win moderates, women & younger voters, especially as a large majority of Americans favor some form of relationship recognition for their LGBT friends & neighbors. Ultimately, the response of the Republican candidates this election cycle will determine not just endorsements by Log Cabin Republicans, but the votes of millions of Americans who are simply tired of the culture wars."
