Dine Out For Life & Fight AIDS

On Thursday April 24th an estimated $4 million will be raised in just one day of dining. Dining Out For Life hosted by Subaru® the food-centric HIV/AIDS fundraiser takes place in 60 cities across North America. More than 3,000 restaurants participate by donating a generous percentage of the day’s proceeds to support service providers in their region to fund care, prevention, education, testing, counseling & other essential HIV/AIDS services. Subaru CMO Dean Evans stated, “2014 marks the seventh year that Subaru has played host to Dining Out For Life. We couldn’t be prouder to support this worthy event & to help the regional organizations that provide crucial services to so many people affected by HIV/AIDS”. Four celebrities are active spokespeople for this fabulous fundraiser including Ted Allen host of Food Network’s popular show Chopped, actor Pam Grier (Foxy Brown, The L Word), designer Mondo Guerra winner of Project Runway All-Stars & Chef Daisy Martinez from Food Network’s ¡Viva Daisy! Some of the cities participating on April 24th include Albany, Asheville, Baton Rouge, Birmingham Mobile, Charleston, Charlotte, Charlottesville, Chattanooga, Chicago, Cincinnati, Clearwater (Tampa Bay), Columbia, Denver-Boulder, El Paso, Ferndale (Detroit), Fort Collins, Colo., Ft. Lauderdale, Grand Junction, Colo., Grand Rapids, Hawthorne (Hudson Valley), Houston, Indianapolis, Jacksonville, Kalamazoo, Kamloops (Canada), Lake Charles, Memphis, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, New Haven, Norfolk, Orlando, Palm Springs, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Portland, Ore., Providence, Raleigh, Reno, San Diego, San Jose, Seattle, St. Louis, Tacoma, Tulsa, Washington, DC & Victoria, BC.
