GLAAD To Honor Ali Rosenthal

GLAAD announced that the founder of Leadout Capital, Ali Rosenthal will be honored with the Ric Weiland Award at the 2019 GLAAD Gala San Francisco on September 28th at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco, CA. The Ric Weiland Award honors an innovator in tech & new media who is advancing equality & recognition of our LGBTQ community. Ali Rosenthal has made this mission her full-time job: founding Leadout Capital to find, vet & support founders who are building companies for overlooked & underserved markets & communities. Previous GLAAD San Francisco Honorees include Sam Altman, Marc Benioff, Margaret Cho, Hannah Hart, Adam Lambert, Don Lemon, Alyssa Milano, Megan Mullally, Tyler Oakley, Shonda Rhimes, Cybill Shepherd, Brooke Shields, Megan Smith, Emil Wilbekin & more. Ali joins the Davidson/Valentini honoree Dan Levy for what will be an unforgettable evening hosted by Peppermint with many more announcements to come. GLAAD Gala San Francisco begins with arrivals & cocktail reception at 5:30P followed by a dinner & awards ceremony at 7P & an after party at 10P. The GLAAD Gala San Francisco celebrates & features storytellers & tech innovators who accelerate LGBTQ acceptance & helps fund GLAAD’s digital advocacy work to grow LGBTQ inclusion in digital and social media. Funds raised from the GLAAD Gala SF support GLAAD’s crucial programs working to accelerate acceptance for LGBTQ people.
