When I look back, I'm humbled by the thing I'm most thankful for, our LGBT community. In just the last 12 months, you've driven the repeal of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" and helped win marriage equality in New York. I'm in awe of what your time, activism, generosity, and dedication have made possible. As we look to the year ahead, I know that our work will be difficult. But having seen how hard we have all worked to get us this far, I know that together we are ready for the challenges ahead.
