  1. Freedom to Marry is proud to partner with Standing on Ceremony, which tells stories of life and love with laughter and tears, following committed gay and lesbian families through the ups and downs of building a life together -- in short, the reasons why marriage matters to gay people, too.

Stars of the play include Craig Bierko (The Music Man), Mark Consuelos (All My Children), Polly Draper (Thirtysomething), Tony Award-winner Harriet Harris (Thoroughly Modern Millie), Tony Award-winner Beth Leavel (The Drowsy Chaperone), and Richard Thomas (The Waltons and Race).

The evening will feature an introduction before the play and a post-performance Q&A from New York City that will be streamed live to participating theatres. Each theater will have its own reading of the play. Audience members can participate in the Q&A by submitting questions via Twitter using the hashtag #marriageforall. Freedom to Marry Founder and President Evan Wolfson will speak as part of the introduction and Q&A.
