LGBT Reproductive Options (AUDIO)

By Charlotte Robinson, November 03, 2012
For our LGBT community who are interested in becoming parents there’s an Open House on Nov 7th for Lesbian, Gay, Transgender & Gender Queer family building options at the Reproductive Science Center (RSC) of New England this Wednesday at 5:30 PM in Lexington, MA. The event is free but registration is required. This is specifically for members of our LGBTQ community who want to become parents of their own biologically related children. This is an opportunity to learn about the variety of assisted reproductive services available for gay male & lesbian couples. There will also be fertility preservation consultations & services for transgender & gender queer individuals. The event includes a tour of RSC’s IUI & IVF center & Q&A time with Dr. Samuel Pang, RSC New England Medical Director. Dr. Pang is a highly regarded authority on providing assisted reproductive medicine services for the LGBTQ community. He was the first Reproductive Endocrinologist in New England, for example, to provide donor egg & gestational surrogacy for a gay male couple. A Board certified Reproductive Endocrinologist, Dr. Pang recently presented LGBT Family Building at the national conference of the Gay & Lesbian Medical Association. Listen to our audio interview with Dr Pang explaining procedures & results:
