MFA Boston LGBT Mini Film Fest

The Boston LGBT Film Festival is presenting the "Best of the Festival" screenings this weekend Nov. 2nd through Nov. 4th at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. Starting tonight Nov. 2nd at 7P is the Boston Premiere of the award winning film ELLIOT LOVES winner of the Audience Choice Award at the 2012 Miami Gay & Lesbian Film Festival. ELLIOT LOVES depicts the joys, sorrows & hopes of a young Dominican-American named Elliot. Director Terracino will be in attendance for a Q & A following the movie. On Saturday afternoon Nov. 3rd the short FOR SPACIOUS SKY will be shown at 1P with director Coy Middlebrook present to be followed by the powerful documentary QUESTION ONE about the battle for gay marriage in Maine. Both films deal timely with the politics of change & as we move towards the election on Tuesday, Nov 6th. Then CLOUDBURST that statrs Olympia Dukakis will be presented at 3P, which was one of the most popular films from the 2012 festival. On Sunday at 1P on Nov 4th the "Best of Festival Shorts" will be presented followed by FACING MIRRORS (AYNEHAYE ROOBEROO) at 3P. The feature film is about Rana & Adineh, two women of very different backgrounds & social class are accidentally brought together to share a journey. The MFA is located at 465 Huntington Avenue Boston, MA. This mini version of the Boston LGBT Film Festival is sponsored by Kimpton Hotels, the LGBT Aging Project & the Massachusetts Transgender Political Coalition.
