The Richmond/Ermet AIDS Foundation presents “Help is on the Way for the Holidays XIV” on Monday, December 7th at the Marines Memorial Theatre in San Francisco from 7:30P to 10P. “Help is on the Way for the Holidays” is a San Francisco Bay Area holiday tradition that benefits children & youth with HIV & AIDS. This event celebrates the holidays of all faiths at this time of year & promotes hope, caring & compassion through holiday music. It features many top Bay Area, as well internationally acclaimed, performers & includes a silent as well as limited live auction. Since it’s inception in 1995, The Richmond/Ermet Aid Foundation has raised over $3 million for AIDS service agencies in the Bay Area and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. 100% of proceeds from ticket sales have always gone directly to the beneficiary partners. REAF also supports hunger programs & programs that serve and support homeless youth. Celebrities scheduled to perform this year include: Mary Wilson -Recording star/Original member of The Supremes; Martha Wash – Two-time Grammy nominee; Steve Grand – YouTube sensation/ recording artist; Jake Simpson - 2-time Star Search Grand Champion winner / recording star, Shawn Ryan - America's Got Talent / TV / Cabaret star; Jason Brock - X-Factor, cabaret star; Sharon McNight - Tony nominee / cabaret star; Lea Bourgade- Virtuoso violinist; & cast members from the Tony Award-winning show “A Gentleman’s Guide to Love & Murder”. There’s an after party with the cast at Clift Hotel, Velvet & Redwood Rooms.
