Caitlyn Jenner Joins Fox News & More
By Charlotte Robinson, April 03, 2022
Just when you thought mainstream media couldn’t get any weirder we learned that Caitlyn Jenner is joining Fox News as a contributor the same week as “Don’t Say Gay” is signed into law in Florida. Also announced last week Mick Mulvaney Trump's former acting White House chief of staff is joining CBS News as a contributor & Biden's press secretary Jen Psaki is planning to depart the White House to take an on-air role at MSNBC. Obviously all shocking appointments but it all makes sense in a world that is spinning out of control. Suzanne Scott Fox News Media CEO stated, “Caitlyn’s story is an inspiration to us all. She is a trailblazer in the LGBTQ+ community & her illustrious career spans a variety of fields that will be a tremendous asset for our audience. Jenner added, “I am humbled by this unique opportunity to speak directly to Fox News Media’s millions of viewers about a range of issues that are important to the American people.”
This announcement came on the heels of the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) confirmed that it had deducted Fox News’s score from its Corporate Equality Index removing its status as an LGBTQ preferred employer. Aryn Fields, Senior Press Secretary at HRC concluded, “Fox News has a history of sharing misinformation & disinformation about the LGBTQ+ community. We know from our own research, which we put out earlier this week, what their disinformation & misinformation means for the LGBTQ+ community: perpetuating stigma & marginalization of transgender & non-binary people.” Jenner is expected to appear on Fox News’ “Hannity” on Thursday evening so we can watch if we want to see how this all plays out.
