There’s a good chance that Rhode Island’s next governor could sign gay marriage into law. Three of the candidates are promising they’ll sign a bill if it reaches their desk. Advocacy group Marriage Equality Rhode Island has invited Democrats Patrick Lynch & Frank Caprio & IndependentLincoln Chafee to make their promise public at an upcoming rally. Republican John Robitaille hasn’t responded to the group but says he might support domestic partnerships. Big Surprise….:) That would make 5 New England states out of 6 where gay marriage is the law after that horribleupset in Maine last November. Updates to Come...:)
