This year Boston Pride is teaming up with Dyke Night to produce the best lesbian JP Block Party on record. It's happening Sunday June 10th from noon until 7P on Perkins Street in Jamaica Plain. The weather is going to be sunny & hot so throw on your board shorts, bikini tops & flip-flops for a Hawaiian inspired afternoon. This party is for all ages but you must be 21 to drink. Entertainment featured throughout the 7 hour event will include: Family friendly early fun includes face painting, side walk art & music that will have kids big & small enjoying the afternoon. Then there will be Kristen’s Dogs & Drag Fashion Show featuring rescue dogs available for adoption showcased by some of Boston’s most celebrity drag queens & kings. Also included in the festivities are special performances & 5 DJ’S spinning all your musical whims including dance, top 40, Latin, reggae, socca, 80’s, mash ups with Shelly Cullen, Double D, Super Squirrel, Magee & LeahV during this 7 hour extravaganza. There’s expecting thousands of women so don’t miss OUT :) See You There! Admission is $10 with a portion of the proceeds benefit Boston Pride.
