Jodie Foster Presents Gay Youth Award

LOS ANGELES -- The Trevor Project, the non-profit organization that operates the nation's only around-the-clock suicide prevention helpline for gay & questioning youth, announced that two-time Oscar-winning actress Jodie Foster will present The Trevor Founders Award @ the organization's annual Cracked XMAS event. more info... Jodie will present the award to two of the organization's founders, director Peggy Rajski & screenwriter James Lecesne. The award will be presented in recognition of the 10th anniversary of the first Cracked XMAS benefit & in memory of the organization's third founder, producer Randy Stone & close friend of Jodie's who passed away unexpectedly in February of this year.

Madame Secretary Hillary Clinton.....

Well it's official Hillary has been appointed Secretary of State for the Obama administration. In addition Obama announced his plan to keep current Defense Secretary Robert Gates in his post for @ least a year in the new administration. Obama also said he would nominate Susan Rice as Ambassador to the UN, retired Marine Gen. James Jones as his National Security Adviser, Eric Holder as Attorney General & Arizona Gov. Janet Napolitano as Homeland Security Director.....Updates to come....

World AIDS Day 20th Anniversary......'08

This is the 20th anniversary of World AIDS Day dedicated to raising awareness of the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of HIV infection. AIDS has killed more than 25 million people, with an estimated 38.6 million people living with HIV, making it one of the most destructive epidemics in recorded history. I have lost many friends & family to AIDS. It's important to take a moment & remember them & think about what a better world this would be if they were still around…..
