As wedding bells ring in the new year in New Hampshire it marks a new era for the state and for America. Gay and lesbian New Hampshire couples today are better able to take care of each other and their families. After marriage equality became law in Massachusetts, it made a huge difference in my life and enabled me to fully care for my husband and our two children. As more and more Americans are coming to know and understand gay and lesbian families, the public support for equality and fairness for all families is growing.
