Steven Spielberg & wife Kate Capshaw have donated $100,000 to the fight against California's November ballot initiative that would overturn the state Supreme Court decision legalizing gay marriage. They stated, "By writing discrimination into our state constitution, Proposition 8 seeks to eliminate the right of each & every citizen in our state to marry regardless of sexual orientation. Such discrimination has NO place in California's constitution, or any other." BRAVO!!! They join Brad Pitt who gave the same amount of $100,000 last week….Updates to Come.....

Momentum continues to build for the NO on Prop 8 campaign, and we are thrilled that our allies in Hollywood are getting involved to help us defeat this hurtful proposition. We thank Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw for their generous donation. Our opposition is ahead of us in the fundraising race, so it is critical that we all do what we can to bring in the funds needed to defeat Prop 8 and ensure that all Californians are treated equally under the laws of our state.
