Iceland’s Prime Minister’s Gay Marriage

Prime Minister Johanna Sigurdardottir married her partner,
writer Jonina Leosdottir, on the day Iceland legalized gay
marriage. They've been in a registered partnership for eight
years & were able to convert the partnership into a marriage
without a ceremony. Sigurdardottir, a Social Democrat, became
Prime Minister last year when voters rejected Iceland´s
center-right government. Congrats! Updates to Come…:)

Michael Jackson: Success Beyond the Grave

of Michael Jackson’s passing will show candlelight vigils,
weeping fans & people who knew him to whatever capacity
going for their fifteen minutes of fame. However, Jacko is
worth more dead than alive with his estate earning more
than $250 million over the year. Billboard totes up $1 billion

P-Town Kids Say Yes to Condoms

In Provincetown, Mass. sex education starts early. The school
committee has unanimously adopted a condom distribution
policy beginning as early as first grade through high school.
According to the Provincetown Banner, the program requires
that students speak to a school nurse or trained counselor
before receiving condoms. The committee also directed school
leaders not to honor demands from parents who object to their
kids receiving protection.
Beth Singer, the school’s superintendent, stated, “We’re talking
about younger kids. They have questions they need answered
on how to use them, when to use them.” This story broke a few
weeks ago but today the mainstream media seems to be going

activists in the White House to remind them of all
the things his administration has accomplished for them....

Obama & Secretary Clinton Address Gay Rights…

The so-called Christians are up in arms because President
Obama once again included our LGBT community in his
Father’s Day chat by stating, "Nurturing families come in
many forms & children may be raised by a father & mother,
a single father, two fathers, a stepfather, a grandfather, or
caring guardian."
We asked Reed Cowan Director of “8: The Mormon
Proposition” & the father of 2 young sons what his hopes
are for our LGBT community in the Obama administration.
Reed stated, “On Obama’s watch there’s a marginalized group
of people, LGBT people, who do not have blessings, benefits
& protections of full marriage equality... I hope the President
would really take that to heart. That where he is today is
momentous and take that light that came from his election
& shine it on people who are marginalized perhaps the way he
would have been marginalized in the 1960’s…..
I just hope he would know that my family can’t wait another
day & that these inequalities are happening on his watch.”

John McCain seems to be determined to take his

vendetta against our LGBT community to the max.

Isn’t it time for Cindy McCain to kick him to the curb?

First Senator McCain tried to derail the Hate Crime Bill

& now he's so desperate to fight against our equality

for LGBT Americans that he's announced that he will

"without a doubt" help block the Senate from repealing

"Don't Ask, Don't Tell" - the discriminatory law that

prevents our gay & lesbian Americans from serving in

the military. As you know last month, the U.S. House

voted to repeal "Don't Ask Don't Tell" & according to

a recent CNN poll, 78% of Americans favor ending the

discriminatory policy. Let's Stop the Homophobes!!
