Update: Obama Appeals Federal Gay Marriage Ban DOMA Rulings It appears that Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley is supporting
a bill making its way through the state Legislature that will legalized
gay marriage in the state of Maryland. The bill has gained significant
traction in recent days as a number of Democratic state lawmakers
say they plan to support the proposal. Proponents say they believe
they have enough support to pass such a measure in the upcoming
