Fenway Women’s Dinner Party

By Charlotte Robinson, March 10, 2014

The Women’s Dinner Party on Saturday March 29th at the Boston Marriott Copley Place is a fabulous elegant attire fundraiser aimed at the lesbian, bisexual women & transgender community & their allies that raises funds for Fenway Health. This year Fenway Health is proud to present Elyse Cherry, co-founder & CEO of Boston Community Capital (BCC) with the Dr. Susan M. Love Award. Boston Community Capital has a mission of building healthy communities through socially responsible investment. Cherry is a champion for economic justice & health equality for women & families throughout Boston & Massachusetts. Elyse has served as CEO for 14 years, during which time Boston Community Capital has invested in child care facilities serving nearly 10,000 children & health care facilities providing care to over 66,000 patients. Sarah Kyley McCormack Dinner Party Co-Chair stated, “We hope you are as excited about the 2014 Women’s Dinner Party as we are. We are thrilled to be honoring Elyse Cherry with this year's Dr. Susan M. Love Award for her exceptional commitment to creating healthy communities at Boston Community Capital. Don’t miss out on one of Boston’s biggest celebrations – See You There!” The evening gets underway at 6P with mingling & a silent auction (preview online here). The dinner program begins at 7P followed by dancing. Our favorite political comedian Kate Clinton returns to get the party started then Boston funk band Booty Vortex & DJ Jodi will keep everyone dancing into the wee hours. Don’t Miss OUT…:)
