The fourth annual Ultimate LGBT Wedding & Anniversary Expo will be held at the Southfield Civic Pavilion 26000 Evergreen Road in Southfield, Michigan from 12 to 6P on Saturday, April 12th. Pride Source Media Group the publisher of Between The Lines is hosting the event. Jan Stevenson, co-publisher of Between The Lines stated, “Even though we'll have to wait a little longer for more couples to legally marry in Michigan, more than 300 couples were recently married in just a few hours Thousands more will marry once the window of opportunity opens again – & it will! The day is coming when we will see full marriage equality in Michigan. And we're ready with cakes, fashions & everything needed to plan a great event.” Open to LGBT & friends, The Ultimate LGBT Wedding & Anniversary Expo will feature local businesses that provide wedding services to gay & lesbian couples. A couture bridal fashion show, presented by B. Ella Bridal, will feature daring styles modeled by local gay rights supporters, including Ferndale Mayor Dave Coulter, Alicia Skillman, Beth Correa, Garnet Lewis, Aaryn Richard, David Temple, Jeremy Moss & more. Guests will enjoy free wine & hors d’oeuvres tastings, dancing, dozens of exciting raffle prizes & demonstrations & displays by the area’s top venues, florists, jewelers, entertainers, restaurants & so much more. Tickets are $10 ($15 at the door) with a portion of the proceeds to benefit the Michigan Marriage Challenge.
