Billy DeFrank LGBTQ Center Benefit

The 11th Annual SV/SF LGBTQ ERG Alliance Benefit for the Billy DeFrank LGBTQ Community Center will take place Sunday October 25th at the Capitol Drive-In at 3630 Hillcap Avenue in San Jose, California. With COVID's devastating effects the Billy DeFrank LGBTQ+ Community Center has been physically closed since March. The Center is not shut down & continues to keep hope alive in our LGBTQ community through communications, virtual groups & community engagement. Maintenance & operational expenses for the building continue so support is urgently needed to help ensure the Center continues to thrive during these challenging times & is well positioned for when it physically reopens. The Billy DeFrank LGBTQ+ Center benefit event will present top rated movies from this year's LGBTQ California Film Festivals on West Wind Capitol Drive-In's biggest screen. For this open-air event they will have food & beverages available for purchase from specially decked-out food trucks which Drag Queens will deliver to VIP ticket holders’ vehicles. Screening area will be at 50% vehicle capacity [200 max] per local regulation & masks & social distancing required outside of vehicles. Since 1981 the Billy DeFrank LGBTQ+ Community Center has provided community, leadership, advocacy, services & support to the Silicon Valley’s LGBTQ People & their Allies.
