A Cabaret Event Celebrating 40 Years

San Francisco's New Conservatory Theatre Center the premier LGBTQ & allied theatre, youth conservatory & educational theatre program is presenting “Encore A Cabaret Performance Celebrating 40 Years” from May 13th to June 12th at 25 Van Ness Avenue in San Francisco, CA. They’re celebrating their milestone birthday with a magically melodious performance of iconic numbers from a songbook of over 50 musical productions that have lit up their stage. Featuring hit songs from blockbuster mega-musicals like Avenue Q, Dirty Little Showtunes & Head Over Heels to hidden gems from indie darlings these original arrangements & brand-new melodies are sure to have you singing with joy. The performance is curated by Ed Decker, directed by Dennis Lickteig with musical direction & arrangements by Joe Wicht, The cast includes McKay Elwood, William Giammona, Catalina Kumiski, Anthony Rollins-Mullens & Jacqueline De Muro. The mission of New Conservatory Theatre Center is to champion innovative, high-quality productions & educational theatre experiences for youth, artists & the queer & allied communities to effect personal & societal growth, enlightenment & change. New Conservatory Theatre Center (NCTC) has been in operation since 1981. Still led by its Founding Artistic Director Ed Decker, NCTC provides the San Francisco community with high quality youth education programming, Queer & Allied theatre, children’s theatre, new work commissions & emerging artists residencies that support local & national artists.
