SAGE Creates New Strategic Divisions

SAGE dedicated to improving the lives of LGBTQ elders announced the addition of two new subdivisions SAGEServes & SAGEVenture. These divisions will be led by two highly experienced executive directors Darcy Connors & Michele Giordano who will help fully realize SAGE’s strategic vision. Darcy Connors will head the SAGEServes division to increase outreach to marginalized communities, including transgender, non-conforming & non-binary elders. Connors stated, “I look forward to focusing on quality programming, including caregiving, SAGEVets & SAGEPositive & creating more opportunities to serve LGBTQ+ elders in New York City & South Florida.” Michele Giordano who has expertise in start-ups, scale & international expansion will lead SAGEVenture. Giordano added, “I am excited to join SAGE & lead SAGEVenture with a world-class team that transforms how LGBTQ+ older people receive the care & services they deserve & need. I look forward to developing new social enterprise initiatives & growing SAGECare to further our mission.” Michael Adams, CEO of SAGE concluded, "As we navigate challenging times, SAGE's new strategic direction is a bold & visionary roadmap for increasing our impact for LGBTQ+ elders. We are excited to welcome two highly accomplished leaders to guide SAGEServes & SAGEVenture.
