This is an old story being stirred up, probably innocently by
actress Carrie Fisher during an Advocate interview. Rumors
have circulated about Travolta for sometime especially recently
after his lawyers took legal action against website Gawker for
publishing a story making claims about his personal life. When
asked to list 10 things that "gay men should know about straight
women", one of Fisher's answers was: "We don't really care that
John Travolta is gay." Then of course there's the Church of
Scientology where Travolta & his family are members that
maintains a hard-line stance on homosexuality & believes in
"curing" people of their homosexuality. Critics of the church
claim the process is meant to keep celebrities in the closet & in
the church. A new book has also brought heavy fire from Travolta's
legal team as the author alleges to have direct knowledge of
Travolta leading a secret gay life.

Wow! I mean, my feeling about John has always been that we know and we don't care. Look, I'm sorry that he's uncomfortable with it and that's all I can say. It only draws more attention to it when you make that kind of legal fuss. Just leave it be.
