Filmmaker Michele Josue's must-see documentary “Matt Shepard is a Friend of Mine” will begin a theatrical release in 12 cities starting during February 6th. This follows a year of acclaimed film festival appearances & recent accolades at the Side by Side Film Festival in St. Petersburg, Russia. A winner of 4 Best Documentary awards, “Matt Shepard is a Friend of Mine” will first open in New York & 2 other cities on February 6th followed by Los Angeles on February 13th & continue expanding into select markets across the United States & Canada. Josue met Matt Shepard while they were attending The American School in Switzerland.
