It's not surprising to me that the places that are ranked the best to work are also the ones that are going to respect and value their employees. Some 86% of Fortune 500 companies now have
non-discrimination policies that include sexual orientation, up from 61% in 2002. And 60% of these firms now offer health benefits for same-gender domestic partners, up from 34% a decade ago. The evolution is clearly in the direction of equality in the workplace.
